Corn Curry

Ingredients

Frozen or fresh corn 500gm

Onions 2

Tomatoes 2

Green chilies 2

Red chili powder 1 tsp

Coriander powder 2 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

Ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp

Cinnamon stick 1 inch

Cardamom 2

Coriander leaves chopped a few

Salt to taste

Oil 2 tbsp


Directions

Heat oil in a pan and add cinnamon stick, cardamom fry for a minute and add chopped onions and fry for a while and then add ginger-garlic paste, chopped tomatoes, green chillies and fry for 2 minutes. Then add all powders and saute for 15 minutes and then add the corn and mix well. Cook for another 10 minutes and garnish with coriander leaves.

Tips of the day
To remove excess salt in any gravy,make some tiny balls of roti dough and let them simmer with the gravy. They absorb excess salt.Remove them before serving.
