Tomato dosa

Ingredients

Parboiled rice 4 cups
Urad dal 1 cup
Tomato 10
Green chillies 4
Coriander leaves a few
Salt as per taste
Oil as required


Directions

Soak rice and dal for 3 to 4 hours. Grind tomato and chillies separately in the mixie and then add the paste to the rice, dal while grinding. Ferment the batter like we do for regular dosa batter. Add coriander leaves and make dosas.

Tips of the day
To neutralize burnt food odors in the house, mix 1/4 cup whole cloves with 1 cups water in a pan and bring to a boil. Simmer cloves for 30 minutes.
