Directions
Mix bengal gram flour, rice flour, red chili powder, cooking soda and enough salt to make thick smooth paste and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan and fry ginger, garlic and chooped chillies for few minutes and put the onions and fry for 5 minutes. Then add the steamed vegetables, turmeric and salt and mix well. Saute this for 10 minutes. Then pour the lime juice and garnish with cilantro. Remove this from fire.
Make lemon sized balls out of this mixture and dip it in the batter. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry few balls at a time, until golden brown.
Use Carrot, Beans, Cauliflower, Cabbage etc as vegetables.
