Ingredients

Mushroom 1 lb
Onion 2
Green chilies 4
Garlic chopped 2 cloves
Ginger chopped 1/2 inch piece
Tomato chopped 2
Cloves 4
Cinnamon 1 Inch piece
Chili powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
Garam masala 1/2tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Milk 5 tbp
Water 1 cup
Ghee 3 tsp
Oil as required
Salt to taste


Directions

Remove the skin of the mushroom, wash and slice. Chop the onion and green chili finely.

Heat the oil in a pan and saute. Add ginger, garlic and green chilies. Fry it until golden color. Add the dry masalas. Saute for 2 minutes. Add chopped tomato. Fry till the oil separates. Put salt and let it boil. Put the sliced mushroom and water cook till it done. You can adjust the sourness by adding milk.

It is good to serve with bread, chappathi and rice.

Add a tablespoon or two of white distilled vinegar to water to avoid eggs from cracking when boiling.
