Ghee Rice

Ingredients

Basmati Rice 1 cup
Water 2 cups
Ghee 5 tbsp
Cinnamon 2 inch piece
Cloves 4
Cardomom 4
Salt to taste


Directions

Soak raw rice in water for half an hour. Take a Vessel and add one tsp ghee and roast the soacked rice and keep it aside. Boil water in a thick bottomed vessel. When it starts boiling add Cinnamon,Cloves and Cardomom. When water is boiled add rice. When it is done add Ghee and mix well. Serve hot with Chicken Curry.

Tips of the day
To make dosas more crisp, add a little fenugreek seeds to the urad dal while soaking.
