Ingredients

Bread pieces 8
Small red onion chopped 2 tsp
Green chilli chopped 1 tsp
Curry leaves 1 strip
Urad dal 1 tsp
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Ginger chopped 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Cabbage greated 3 tsp
Carrot greated 3 tsp
Capsicum cut in small lengthwise 3 tsp
Tomato chopped 1
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Coriander 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Oil 2 tsp


Directions

Remove the crust from bread pieces and break bread into small pieces.Take oil in a pan, heat it.Add mustard seeds. Next add the onions, green chillies and ginger and fry for one minute on medium heat. Add the carrot, potato, cabbage,capsicum and tomato fry for a minute and cook covered for 2-3 minutes or until it get cooked.When vegetables are ready, add all the dry spices and salt to taste.Finally add the bread slices and fry for a while.Garnish with coriader leaves.

Tips of the day
While frying Puris or Pakoras, add a pinch of salt and this will help absorb less oil.
