Cauliflower Masala

Ingredients

Cauliflower 1
Onion 3
Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
Green chilly 3
Chicken Masala 2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil as required
Curry leaves a few
Coriander leaves a few


Directions

Cut cauliflower into small florets and cut onions lengthwise. Heat some oil in a pan add the cauliflower pieces. Fry it till slightly brown and half cooked. Keep it aside.

Heat a little oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Then add curry leaves. Then add onion and fry till golden brown. Add green chillies, ginger and garlic paste and fry for a while. Add all masalas and salt. Add cauliflower and cover it and cook till it done. Garnish it with coriander leaves.

hi i found everything good in cauliflower masala curry but one thing i need to clarify whether i can boil the cauliflower before frying it becoz i use to boil the cauliflower before cooking it.

If you want you can try that out. But i doubt it will make the florets break in to very small pieces and curry may not be look nice.

Tips of the day
Leftover chappathies can be cut into small diamond shaped pieces with a pair of kitchen scissors and deep fried till golden brown. Store in air-tight containers.
