Ingredients

Thick Aval 2 Cups
Onion 1
Red Chilies 5
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Green chillies 2
Curry Leaves a few
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Cashew nuts 5
Coriander Leaves a few
Cumin Seeds 1/4 tsp
Shredded coconut 1 cups
Urad Dal 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil as required


Directions

Soak the aval(pooha) for about 3 minutes and wash it well and strain it. And let it dry in the strainer for about 15 minutes.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, then add some jeera, dals, cashew nuts and chillies.Now add the onions and fry them till they become golden brown.Then add the aval and add little oil, and add the turmeric powder and salt. Add the curry leaves, and mix them well. Finally add the shredded coconut and coriander leaves and mix well.
