Mixed Vegetable Soup

Onion 1
Cauliflower 1/4 cup
Beans 1/4 cup
Cabbage 1/4 cup
Mushroom 2 gm
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Cornflour 3 tbsp
Salt as per taste


Cook onion, beans, cauliflower and cabbage in 2 cup water. Cool it. Then grind it in a mixi and strain it. Heat the soup. Stir ocassionally. Add the cornflour which has been dissolved in 1/2 cup water to the soup so as to thicken it. Add salt and freshly ground pepper powder and cook for 5-6 minutes.

Tips of the day
To remove the smell of onions from your hands and knife, rub them with a little salt or lemon rind and then wash.
