BottleGourd Kheer

Ingredients

1 Bottlegourd (sorakaya)
Sugar as required
Whole Milk 3-4 cups
Cardamom 4
Raisins a few
Cashew nuts a few
Ghee 2 tsp


Directions

Grate the bottlegourd, sqeeze extra water, fry for 2 minutes in 2 tbsp ghee.
Boil milk until thickens, add grated bottlegourd, boil for 8-10 minutes. Then add sugar, cardamoms powder and roasted cashew nuts and raisins.

Tips of the day
Leftover chappathies can be cut into small diamond shaped pieces with a pair of kitchen scissors and deep fried till golden brown. Store in air-tight containers.
