Neer Dosa

Ingredients

Raw rice- 2 cups


Grated coconut-1/4 cup


Salt to taste


Directions

Soak rice for 4 hours, drain. Grind with coconut until very fine. Make batter thinner than normal dosa batter(The consistency should be like coffee).

Heat and grease the tava, Splash the batter onto the tava to form dosa. You cannot spead the batter on the tava with the ladle.

Serve hot or cold with chutney or grated coconut mixed in jaggery.

Tips of the day
Always mash potatoes when they are still quite hot. They mash more easily and can be finely mashed too.
