Egg Biriyani

Rice 2 cups

Boiled eggs 4

Onion 2

Green chillies chopped 3

Ginger paste 1/2 tsp

Garlic paste 1/2 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp

Garam masala 1 tsp

Bay leaves 2

Cardamoms 3

Cloves 3

Oil/Ghee 3 tbsp

Salt as per taste

Water 3 cup

Chopped corinader leaves a few


Wash the rice and soak for half an hour. Remove shells and cuts eggs in to half, lengthwise and keep it aside. Heat oil in a pan. Fry onion till golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and simmer for 3 minutes. Add chopped chillies and simmer for a minute. Add bay leaves, cloves and cardamoms. Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala. Add halved eggs. Now add rice, salt and water. Cook till rice is done. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with salad.

nice recipe and easy too! it is convinient to make such recipes, since all the things are easily available.Good!

Tips of the day
Add a few drops of lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon of ghee while steaming basmati rice to make it whiter and keep the rice unbroken.
