Ingredients

Rice 500 gm


Gingelly seeds(til) 115 gm`


Red chillies 5 gm


Split black gram 15 gm


Asafoetida(hing) a pinch


Salt to taste


Fat 100 ml


Curry leaves 1 sprig(10 leaves)


Cashew nuts 15 gm


Lime 1


Directions

1. Boil the rice and keep it side cool it
2. Heat fat and fry cashewnuts to a golden brown. Remove and and drain. Fry curry leaves. Remove
3. In the same fat fry cleaned til seeds, red chillies, asafoetida(hing) and split black gram.
4. Remove and grind to a powder.
5. Mix the powdered masala, fried cashewneuts, salt, lime juice with rice garnish with curry leaves.

Tips of the day
To take away traces of bitterness in tomatoes, add a bit of sugar to them.
