Soya Chunk Pulav

Very tasty and easy soya chunk recipe.

Ingredients

Soya chunks boiled 1 cup
Rice 250gm
Carrot chopped 1
French beans 25 gm
Green peas 25gm
Garam masala 1 tsp
Cloves 4
Cinnomon stick 4
Green chillies chopped 1
Onion chopped 1
Oil 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Water 4 cups
Butter/Ghee 1 tsp


Directions

1.Heat oil in a pan . Add cloves,cinnomon sticks,chopped green chilli and onion. Fry for 2 minutes and add rice. Fry for another 2 minutes and add water. Cover the pan and cook for 15 minutes.

2.Add boiled soya chunks and all other ingredients.Cover and cook till done while stirring the mixture.

Note: Take 1 cup of soya chunks and add 4 cups of water with a pinch of salt. Boil for five minutes. Remove from fire. After 10 minutes drain out the water. Rinse 2-3 times in fresh water. Lightly squeez out excess water and use it in pulav.

Tips of the day
While storing the excess dough in the refrigerator coat it with a light layer of ghee or oil. This shall prevent the dough from getting dry.
