Remove the outer cover of breadfruit (kadachakka), also remove the innet stem and cut into small pieces.
Heat a pan and roast the coconut till its tunns to brown in color. Add shallots, fennel, cloves, garlic and peppercorns and fry, till they turn golden brown.Add chilly powder and coriander powder and fry for a while.Grind them to a paste with water.
Heat oil in a pan.Splutter mustard seeds and saute red chillies. Add chopped onions and curry leaves and saute, till the onion turns brown.Add the masala paste and saute for few minutes.Add kadachakka, turmeric powder and salt and mix well. Add 1 cup of water.Cover and cook, till its well cooked.
