Chicken 1/2 kg
Onion 2
Ginger chopped 1 tsp
Garlic chopped 1 tsp
Palak 1/4 cup
Chicken masala 2 tsp
Green chilly 3
Salt as required
Oil as required


Cut onions thin and lengthwise. Heat oil in a pan and add onions and fry till it turns golden brown in color. Then add ginger, garlic and green chillies and fry till its smell goes. Then add tomato and fry well. Then add chicken pieces, chicken masala, salt and enough water and cook well. Meanwhile put the palak leaves in hot water and grind it before it become cool. When chicken is cooked well and gravy is thick add the grinded palak and mix well.

Serve hot with Rice or Roti.

Tips of the day
To neutralize burnt food odors in the house, mix 1/4 cup whole cloves with 1 cups water in a pan and bring to a boil. Simmer cloves for 30 minutes.
