Onion Pakkoda

Ingredients

Besan flour 2 Cups
Onion 1
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
A pinch of asafetida
Oil for deep-frying
Coriander leaves chopped 3 tsp
Curry leaves 1 strip


Directions

Chop the curry leaves and coriander leaves into very small pieces.Cut onions into lengthwise pieces.Mix Onions with besan, put salt, green chilli/red chilli powder and asafetida. Make thick paste of it.Better if no water added.Add chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves and mix well.Heat Oil in pan.Take batter(very small size lemon) and fry it till brown. Good with Ketchup.
