Simple Sponge Cake

Ingredients

3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
3 eggs


Directions

In a bowl, whip together the eggs and sugar until light and creamy in colour. Fold in flour. Pour into the prepared pan. Add the flour and stir slowly to make a smooth, soft batter.

Grease a round cake pan. Spread the batter evenly into this prepared pan. Bake at 190° for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool it and then turn out onto a serving plate.
