Easy Biscuit Pudding

Ingredients

Milk - 400 ml(1 packet)
Marie Biscuits - 1 pack
Sugar - 5 tbsp
Cornflour - 3 tbsp
Cocoa powder - 3 tbsps
Instant Coffee Powder - 4 tbsp
Nuts - a few for garnish


Directions

Dilute instant coffee powder with 3 tbsp warm water. Dip both sides of the marie biscuits in this and layer them in a serving bowl. Repeat it with the whole packet.

In a bowl, mix cocoa powder and cornflour. Make a paste using very little milk, without forming any lumps.

In a pan, boil the milk and add sugar. When the milk boils, add the above cocoa-cornflour paste and mix in to it and stirring well. Mix thoroughly.It will start thickening immediately, keep stirring. Switch off the flame when it thickens, but still of pouring consistency, just like custard.

While still hot, pour it over the biscuits and cover the biscuits all over with this sauce. Sprinkle cashews on top of it and refrigerate for 4-5 hours. Serve chilled!
