Fish Tikka
Ingredients
Fish 1 Kg
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder 2 tbsp
Cinnamon 1/2 tsp
Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Lime Juice 1 tsp
Yoghurt 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Directions
Wash the fish and remove the bones. Cut into medium size pieces.Take a bowl and add garlic and ginger paste mix with salt, cinnamon powder, red chili powder, pepper powder,cumin powder, turmeric powder, lime juice and yogurt. Marinate fish pieces in this batter for 2 hours. Skewer the fish pieces and roast in a tandoor / oven / grill for 10-15 minutes. Remove, baste with butter and cook further for 5-7 minutes. Remove from skewers and serve hot.
Oven Preparation.
Line a baking pan with Aluminum foil shiny side up. Put the fish pieces in the pan. Baste it generously with the marinate. Pre-heat oven to 450? F. Bake for about 10 minutes. Turn over the fish pieces and baste again with the marinate. Bake another 10 minutes or till done.
