Mutton Pepper Fry


Mutton 500 grams
Chilly powder 1 tbsp
Ginger 1/2 inch piece
Garlic 3 flakes
Cinnamon 1/2 inch piece
Peppercorns 6
Cloves 3
Onion 1
Oil as required
Salt to taste


Clean the mutton pieces. Fry the spices for a few seconds (namely cloves, bay leaves, black pepper, cinnamon stick). Grind the ginger, garlic and the powdered spices. Cut the onion in thin slices.

Heat oil in a pan, add onion. When onions are golden brown add ginger garlic paste and fry a while. Add the washed and diced meat, chilly powder and salt. Add enough water for meat to cook.Cover it and cook. When meat is cooked, add spices and fry until water evaporates. Serve hot.
