Kichadi
Ingredients
Cucumber 3/4 cup
Green Chilly 3
Coconut Grated 1/2 cup
Mustard 1/2 tsp
Curd 2 cups
Whole red chilly 4
Coconut oil 3 tsp
Curry leaves a few
Salt to taste
Directions
Cut cucumber into small pieces and cook in salt and water. Meanwhile grind coconut, green chillies and mustard seeds and keep it aside. When the cucumber is well cooked add the grinded paste to it. Cook for 5 minutes and then add curd. Keep the fire low and keep on stirring till it is just about to boil. Remove from the fire. Season it with mustard, dry chillies and curry leaves.
