Ingredients

Oil or melted butter 1 cup
Sugar 2 cups
Maida 3 cups
Eggs 4
Baking powder 1 tsp
Fruit juice/Milk 1 cup
Pineapple essence/vanilla essence 3 drops


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease a 9 inch cake pan. Make a batter mixing all the ingredients plus fruit juice and 3 drops of pineapple essence and baking powder. Add a few cashew nuts and dates. Pour the batter into prepared pans and bake in 350 degree F oven for about 45 minutes. Cake is done when a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
