Ingredients

Row rice 1/4 cup
Milk 1 litre
Sugar 1 cup
Raisins 10
Cashew nuts 10
Cardamom 5
Ghee 2 tsp


Directions

Heat milk and when it boils and starts to rise add raw rice and cook. Keep in low heat with constant stirring until the quantity reduces to half. Add sugar and boil it.
In a Pan heat the ghee and fry the cashews,raisins and cardamom and add it to the payasam. Serve hot.

Tips of the day
To neutralize burnt food odors in the house, mix 1/4 cup whole cloves with 1 cups water in a pan and bring to a boil. Simmer cloves for 30 minutes.
