Ingredients

Paneer 200gm
Potatoes (boiled and mashed) 2
Pepper powder 3/4 tsp
Garam masala 1/2 tsp
Salt as required
Egg white 1
Breadcrumbs 1 cup
Oil for deep-frying

Directions

Cut the paneer into square pieces, about 1/ 2 inch in thickness and 11/2 inches in length and breadth.

Heat oil in a pan. When it is really hot and add paneer pieces and remove it immediately. Keep it aside.

Mix together boiled and mashed potatoes, pepper powder, garam masala and enough salt.

Take a ball of potato mix and press it. Place a fried paneer piece over the potato mix and roll and seal the edges of the potato mix in such a way that the filling does not come out from any part of the mix. Repeat the same process for making more rolls.

Heat enough oil for the rolls to simmer and dip each rolls in the egg white and then in the breadcrumbs and into the oil. When both sides are golden brown remove from the oil.

Serve it hot with tomato sauce.

Tips of the day
Add little milk to onions while frying will help retain a rich color and prevent them from burning.
