Hyderabad Double Ka Meetha

Ingredients

Bread 8 slices


Sugar 350gms


Milk 300 ml


Elachi 4 no


Saffron a pinch


Cashewnuts 15 gms


Pistachio nuts 15 gms


Ghee 200 ml


Directions

1.Boil the milk. Simmer and reduce to half and keep it side.
2.Deep fry bread slices in brown colour. Place it in milk for 10 minutes till bread soaks.
3.Heat sugar with little amount of water make a sugar syrup. Soak saffron in little milk and add it into a soaked bread slice.
4.Add sugar syrup in soaked bread slices keep it on simmer for 10 minutes remove from fire.
5.Garnish with nuts and crushed cardamom.
