Ingredients

Beef - 1/2 Kg
Onion - 3
Potato - 2
Green chilli - 6
Ginger - 1 piece
Garam Masala - 1 tablespoon
Rusk powder - 1 cup
Egg - 3
Oil - 1/2 cup
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Salt to taste


Directions

Cook the beef with some salt and pepper powder. Now grind the beef well in a mixer grinder. Boil the potatoes separately and mash it. Cut ginger, green chilli, curry leaves and onion into very small pieces.

In a pan heat oil. When the oil is hot, add onion, ginger, green chilli, curry leaves and fry till the onion turns light brown. Add the garam masala powder and mix well. Remove from fire. Now add mashed potato and the ground beef and mix well. Add salt to taste. Make it any shape with your palm or with a shaper.

Take only the white of the egg and beat it well. Dip the cutlets in egg white and then rub it with rusk powder and fry it in hot oil till golden brown.

Tips of the day
For soft idlies like a sponge do not stir the batter after it has got fermented. Pour the batter as it is.
