Ingredients

Rice flour - 2 cups
Urad dal (fried till brown and grind) flour - 1/4 cup
Butter - 1/2 cup
Peanuts - 1/4 cup
Salt - as required
Chilli powder - as per taste
Asofoetida (Hing) - little


Directions

1.Make a dough by mixing rice flour, urad dal flour with all ingredients by adding little water. The dough should be soft like chapathi dough .

2.Make round balls and press it with a small flat cup, using a plastic cover between the dough and the cup or press it with hand (It should be thin and round in shape).

3.Make small holes over the thattai with a fork.

4. Grease a plate with ghee and place the thatais on the plate.

5.Place it in the oven for 10 min at 375F (After 5 minutes turn the otherside and plcae it for another 5 minutes).

6. Take it out cool it for 10 to 15 minutes and serve it

Enjoy this tasty snack with out oil.

Generally thatai is prepared by frying in oil this one will be good if u have a oven or u can Place it in Microwave oven for 1 min and turn the other side for 1 min.Serve it after cooling it for 10 minutes.

how will this be oil less recipe when ur adding butter to it .
