Carrot Wada

A different wada made with carrot and urad dal

Ingredients

1 Cup Urad dal
4 to 5 Green chillies
1/2 Cup Carrot (app)
One small pieces ginger
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry


Directions

Soak the dal overnight.
Grind the dal in a grinder or a blender. Add very little water.
Dal it self only add green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves and salt.
Grind it all ingredient must become a dough not slippery.
Chop the Carrot and mix well.

Heat the oil in a kadai. Take a scoop of the dough on to your palm or a polythene sheet, pat it into a circle, make a hole in the center and slip it into the heated oil. (!!do not slip the polythene!!) fry both sides till brown.

Tips of the day
Remove the stems from chilies before storing them, this will keep them fresher for a long time.
