Vegetable Pakoda

Ingredients

Onion 1
Potato 1
Carrot 2
Cabbage grated 1/2 cup
Green chilli 2
Bengal gram flour 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds a pinch
Red chilly powder 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves a few
Chopped cilantro 1 tsp
salt -as needed
Oil for deep-frying


Directions

Grate onion, potato and carrot into thin and even lengh. Mix bengal gram flour, turmeric, red chili powder, crushed cumin seeds enough salt and water to make thick smooth paste. Now add the grated vegetables and mix well.

Heat a oil in a pan.when the oil is really hot, put small amounts of the mixture little by little into it and deep fry until light brown.Take from oil and allow to drain oil by placing on a tissue paper.

Eat when hot with tomato ketchup.
