Idli Fry

Ingredients

Idllis 5
Oil for frying
Chopped Onion 1
Green Chillies2
Grated coconut 2 tbsp
Curry leaves a few
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Chopped Coriander leaves 1 tsp
Salt to taste


Directions

Leftover idlis can be sliced lengthwise into 1 inch strips and deep fried till golden brown. Serve immediately with ketchup. Kids will love this!

In a pan,heat 1/2 tsp of oil. Add mustard seeds and allow it to splutter. Now add chopped onion, curry leaves, green chillies and salt. Saute till onion turns translucent. Add grated coconut and coriander leaves into it,stir well for few seconds. Switch it off and spread the mixture over fried iddlis .Serve hot.
