Okra Gravy

Ingredients

Okra 20
Onion 1
Tomato 1
Red Chilly powder 3 tbp
Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
Cloves 5-6
Ginger Garlic paste 2 tsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Garlic chopped 1/2 tsp
Oil as required
Curry leaves 1 spring
Salt as required


Directions

Wash the okras and dried it.I n a deep pan pour 2 tasp of oil and fry these okras, keep frying for 5 min, then keep it aside.

In the same pan, pour some more oil as required, when it gets heated split some mustard seeds and curry leaves, then add chopped garlic, fry for a while and then add cloves, then add onion and keep on frying till the onion reaches nice brown in colour. Add Ginger garlic paste to this onion, fry well till the paste mixes well with the onion, then add chopped tomatoes, red chilly powder and turmeric powder, fry well for a while.

Immediately add fried okras to this and fry, now add enough salt and cover the pan with the lid. Do not add water to this mixture. For every 3 min, take out the lid and fry the okras, let it cook until okras reaches brown in colour. Garnish with the coriander leaves on it.
