Potato Curry

Ingredients

Potatoes 2 big
Cucumber 3 (optional)
Tomato 1
Green Peas 1/4 cup
Green Chillies 5
Mint 3 stalks
Coriander to garnish
Grated Coconut 4 tbsp
Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
Garam masala (optional)1tsp
Chilli powder (optional) 1tsp
Jeera 1/4 tsp
Salt as required


Directions

Grind mint, chillies, peas and 2tbsp of coconut powder by adding little water make paste of it.

Grate 2 cucumbers and cut one into big chunks.

Peel potato cut into big chunks.

Put tomato whole, cucumber grated and chunks and potato chunks little water and coconut powder 2 tbsps in a pressure cooker and cook for 2-3 whistles. When it is cool remove tomato skin and break with knife or spoon

Put a vessel or kadai on stove. Add oil 2-3 spoons heat it. Add jeera, mustard seeds. Let them splutter. Add grinded mint followed by cooked vegetables stir well.

Cook some time on medium heat till whatever kurma consistency you want.

Add salt, chilli powder, garam masala. Cook for a minute by closing lid. Garnish with coriander leaves. Kurma is ready to serve.
