Mutter Paneer

Ingredients

Peas 1 cup
Paneer 20 pieces
Tomato 2
Onions 2
Ginger 1/2 inch piece
Garlic 2 cloves
Cilantro chopped a few
Red chill powder 1/2 tsp
Jeera 1/2 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Butter / Oil as required


Directions

Cut paneer into cubes. Heat ghee and fry the paneer to light brown and remove.

Heat butter in a pan add the chopped onions and fry until they turn soft and golden brown in colour, add ginger and garlic and fry for a while. Then add the tomato and mix them well. To this add garam masala, chill powder and mix well. Then remove them from the stove and let it cool. When cold put them in a blender adding very little water liquify and blend them well to make a gravy.

Again take little butter in a pan and heat it. Add jeera. When jeera turns it color, add the gravy and let it boil. Now add the peas, paneer cubes and mix them well. Add salt to taste and garnish it with cilantro.
