Bread Pakoda
Ingredients
Bread-5 to 6 slices
Besan-1 cup
Chilli powder-2tbs
Turmeric-a pinch
Asafoetida-1ts
Salt- to taste
Oil to fry
Directions
Cut the bread slices,each into 4 squares. Make a batter of besan, chilli powder, turmeric, asafoetida and salt. Heat oil in a kadhai. Dip the bread pieces in the batter and fry, when the oil gets hot. Tasty bread pakodas are ready now. Serve it hot either wth ketchup or chutneys or even alone.
